I have read similar articles in the past, and this author brings up some of the same points. Libraries are too small on their own to create a useful set of tags. LibraryThing is an excellent alternative that would potentially enhance our catalog greatly. It would more than likely require us to buy the WebBridge product from III, which ain't cheap. Something to think about if money ever becomes available though.
