Forging New Links Conference

Several of us (Laura, Teri, Tracey and I) went to Columbus for two days to the Forging New Links conference. It was all about volunteers, community service and such. Usually at these conferences, maybe one workshops out of five is any good. Not so here. All the workshops were excellent. I came away with some great ideas for homework centers, for re-working our volunteer manual, for working with our volunteer liaisons, and learned some new trends in the disabilities field. Very worthwhile conference!
