Lending Toy Library for Children with Disabilities

The Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Toy Library lends toys and educational software to parents and teachers at no cost. We also provide a selection of adaptive, switch-operated toys for children with disabilities such as vision impairment, coordination problems, attention issues, developmental disabilities, and limited motor ability. Our toys include:

§ Games and puzzles
§ Stringing and lacing
§ Musical toys
§ Counting
§ Audio and video cassettes
§ Switch-adapted toys
§ Educational software

Baby Sign Language
Among the places in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky that offer instruction in sign language for babies and toddlers:Baby Signs Program, www.babysigns.com, offers a 90-minute parent workshop and six-week Sign, Say & Play classes (parent and child) through Gymboree Play and Music, 4700 Duke Drive, Suite 105, Mason. Free monthly parent workshops (optional materials are extra). Must pre-register. Sign, Say & Play is $135.
